While providing a classroom atmosphere with a structured routine, we combine hands on experiences, art, music and movement, story time, language development, dramatic play, sensory experiences, cooking activities, large and small motor activities.
We offer a learning program that is geared for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. We also accommodate after school children and special needs children which we blend into our program according to each individuals needs.
Example of Weekly Themes for October:
-Autumn Art Week
-Fire Prevention Week
-Cornfields and Pumpkin Patches
-A Spook-tacular Week
-Halloween Fun
Hands on with sunflowers, apples, corn cobs and pumpkins are especially interesting when you get up close and personal touching, cooking, dissecting, painting and pounding them.
As we enter into fall and winter we'll focus on many exciting ways to explore and have fun inside and outdoors. We'll continue enjoying Flannel Board Story adventures during our Circle Time and meet new Puppet friends for puppet play, who help us with our letters, numbers and shapes etc...
Naturally, we'll be emphasizing on the changing seasons during outdoor activities. From the "leaves are falling down" to the "snow is falling down".
Our goal is to provide a warm, enriching experience for your child.
Look for our Parent Note with a collection of songs and finger plays for you to share with your child/ren at home too.
